The BYD e6 has a maximum charge rate of 16 amps. We recommend the 16 amp cable for ease of use and cost savings. The 32 amp cable will give you a future upgrade path as the next generation cars will all charge at 32 amps. Our cables will automatically switch between 16 and 32 amps so our 16 amp cables can be safely used on a 32 amp charging station and vice versa.
